Reading is Good

How often do you read?  Never?  Seldom?  Rarely?

Do you sit in a favorite chair reading a book about a foreign land?

Do you Love a good book?

If you had the time to sit and read ... every book that has ever been writen you would need more than one lifetime to do so.

~it's true~

God is Simple

God is simple.  Anyone who spends their whole life in study and reading books about God and then doing deep analysis of His nature in my opinion does not 'get' God.  Why analyze God?  Who do you think you are?  Life is so much more than reading books about God ... why not LIVE who God is instead.  Jesus didn't sit around reading about himself all the time ... he Lived the life ... died, and then lived some more! Not even death could stop Him.

And then when you finally find God ... just BE and realize Him.  Why over think it?  Why over speak it?  Where have all of our words ever gotten us anyway.  It's all ego and fluff and the who of who God is is manifest in Eternity and God is an Eternal being so whatever is said about Him does not matter and only the eternal which lasts forever is real.  Why waste time reading books?  Get out and enjoy who God is ... or be still and enjoy who God is.  Reading is for the elderly who have nothing else better to do with their time but sit, reflect and read.

Who has time to read when there is so much work to be done?  Garden's need weeding, you need to get off your butt and go to the gym, you could be stretching, dusting, cleaning ... reading is for lazy people or for people who need help going to sleep at night.

There are homes to be built in impoverished countries and here you sit on your lazy butt reading about God and wondering why you cannot find him.  Foolish Human being ... you GO and FIND HIM in the midst of serving HIM.  He gives you only so much time here on Earth to do these charitable acts and all you do is sit in miserable condition and suffer while you search for something that is present and eternal within you.  He is waiting for you to move and wants to see you do something with your life.  Sitting and wondering 'when is He going to come?' is just such a terrible waste of the life God your Lord and savior has given to you.

GO, DO and BE the servant of the Lord that Jesus calls you to be!

Read the bible when you can ... but if you never put it into practice you have entirely missed the point.  Go feed the needy, go actually make them a meal, go be a good servant to your neighbor by mowing their lawn, shoveling their snow.  GO take care of a widow and the orphan who has no parents ... GO AND DO and BE who the Lord manifest you to BE and show Jesus through your actions.

In the name of the Lord
and for Christ sake
AMEN

The Second Coming of Christ: The Resurrection of the Christ Within You

Modern Christian culture has many elements which are admirable, and many failings which are abominable ... spiritual prejudice and looking for Satan and finding fault and evil is a poor way to spend your life.  Instead, follow what Jesus taught and find the Kingdom of Heaven within yourself.  "The Kingdom of Heaven is at Hand" is the Truth that Jesus spoke over and over again ... and it is true.  Jesus is alive today in the true disciples, the Holy Spirit of God is real.

I have found the commentary by Paramahansa Yogananda to be very full of wisdom.  He is the person who brought Yoga to the American West.  Yoga is NOT a religion, but a way of life.  People who seek to advance in knowledge of Jesus and who wish to experience Life in Christ should live simply, not crave after positions of power and glory and do little works of kindness every day of their lives and not glory in how the world sees them.  Doing what you need to do every day is a challenge enough.

Find Christ withing yourself, and see it in others.  It's that simple.  And when you are ready to leave this world may you see Him (Jesus) and be 'Raptured' into His Love.  That will happen when you are prepared to leave one body and go to the Heavenly world.  Don't ask for this 'Rapture' too soon and be surprised you no longer are on Earth!

Be present in your daily life, not crazy and ego-centered and loving the sound of your own voice like so many so called preachers and wolves in sheep's clothing.  There are true teachers out there ... it is not vain to look for one, and you have the right not to accept everything they say.  Test teachings according to the Word of God who is YHWH.

Don't be crazy and think you will find Jesus off in a faraway location ... He is right here in your heart of hearts.  You find Him when you are awake and Alive in Christ.  Anything less is not Realization and Truth and Reality.

Reality is knowledge and direct perception of Heaven within you.  Heavenly Kingdoms are within you and within other Human Beings.  Perceive this and you will be in line with Christ.

Try to intellectualize Christ, the bible and scripture and you will be MISSING THE POINT!  The point is to connect with the Eternal Force which is within you.  A child can do it, a baby can do it and a mentally retarded person can do it and every living creature can do it and so what is wrong with the intellectual man?  Why does he question?  It's so simple.  Just Be.

The Fish and the Moon

short story for both young and old:

Once upon a time there was a  little fish.

The little fish lived in a Lake and high above the Lake was the Moon.

Every night the Moon shone brightly on the water which made the little fish very curious.

The shining light on the surface of the water made the little fish hungry and so up to the surface of the water he went in search of food, but there was none to be found.

The little fish looked and looked for where the light was coming from and he saw high up into the sky a round bright light.

That bright light in the sky is the Moon and the little Tiny Fish was so curious about it that he flew out of the Lake up to see for himself what this 'Moon' was all about.

Yes, the little Tiny Fish FLEW right out of the Lake and into the sky.

Up past the lilly pads and the frogs that rest upon them.

UP past the tree tops and the birds which nestle in their branches.

UP past the houses and up past the clouds!

The little Fish went higher and higher still until at last he met the moon and said "Hello."

The Moon said to the Tiny Fish "Hello and how do you do Tiny Fish!"

"Hi." said the Tiny Fish, "My name is Tiny and I live in the Lake which you shine your light upon way down below on the Earth. I wanted to come up and visit you."

"Well, actually ..." said the Moon who is old and wise, "The light you see comes from the sun which lights up your home during the day. I just reflect the rays of the sun."

"Oh" said Tiny and he gave the Moon a kiss and said goodnight, because it was way past his bedtime and flew back down to the Lake below.

Down past the clouds and the tall buildings, down past the treetops and the birds which rest in their branches, DOWN past the lilly pads and the sleeping frogs and into the Lake where Tiny Fish sleeps.

"Good night Tiny!" said the Moon!

"Good night moon!" said Tiny.

Tomorrow is another day.

Matthew - from the bible

This book helps a lot when I feel lost about who Jesus is and who he was and who He is today ... when you read a book of the bible, don't read with a closed heart, let Love guide you and open your heart to the Living and Eternal presence of Christ.

Some people are afraid to study God I think ... I know it seems like God is so BIG and kind of scary and well, He is ... but I would rather know Him than not know Him and when you do get closer to God it is a very real thing and is a relationship with the divine.

Start simple ... the book of Matthew is a really good place to start.

Don't judge yourself or others
Life is a Journey
Be good to yourself
Be forgiving
Be Loving
